Joey is a sweet and loyal companion who is just waiting for the right person to help him discover that the world isn't so scary. Once he feels safe and secure, his happy-go-lucky personality truly shines.

Ideal Home

Joey is a sensitive soul who forms strong attachments. He's completely at ease with his foster mom but is still quite guarded and nervous around men and sudden movements. Therefore, Joey would thrive in a quiet, calm, and predictable home environment, free from loud noises or hyper activity. A home without young children is also essential. He needs a patient adopter, ideally female, or a home prepared to let him bond at his own slow pace, understanding that building trust takes time.

Training & Support

Joey is a gem when it comes to house manners, earning a perfect 10/10! He's completely trustworthy, doesn't engage in destructive behavior, and is happy to simply relax by your feet. He's also fully crate trained, has excellent recall, and is a pleasure on his daily walks. He really thrives on a predictable routine, so maintaining one will help him feel most secure. Joey is also cat-friendly and does not bother the resident cats in his foster home.
