Melody - Beautiful Poet

Melody is an incredibly expressive and intelligent 5 to 6-year-old, 60lb German Shepherd mix with a beautiful golden coat. She loves to observe, learn, and explore the world by your side. Melody is a champion leash walker and will lean in for all the love and appreciation she can get. She’s a big fan of playing fetch but is equally happy to settle in for cuddles and snuggles after a long day. Melody is friendly with the horses, cows, goats, and donkeys at the Rescue Ranch.

Ideal Home

Melody would love a home where she can be your sole furry companion, as she can be a bit selective with other dogs, generally doing better with smaller dogs than larger ones.

Ongoing Health

Melody is a healthy girl with no known health concerns.

Training & Support

Melody is a well-behaved girl who walks wonderfully on a leash. She thrives on human companionship and shows her appreciation for affection.

Transporation

Melody is currently being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX. She is an "out of town pet" and not at our primary location. Rescue transport is available to bring her closer to your home once a month. Transport is provided by AJC Rescue & Transport, a professional and caring service that will update you on her journey.
