Archie

Archie is a 1-year-old mix of Lab, German Shepherd, and other breeds who is full of personality and life! He's been with his foster since he was very young and is a super loyal companion who loves to please. His Lab side shines through when it's time to play fetch, swim, or just be goofy. He absolutely adores being in the water and outdoors! His German Shepherd traits come out when he feels the need to protect his people and home, and he's incredibly loyal and attentive. Archie is a smart boy who follows the rules and stays within his fenced yard, even though he could easily jump it. He truly wants to bond with his people and make them happy.

Ideal Home

Archie can be a little reserved when first meeting new people, but he warms up quickly, especially if you toss a ball for him! He does tend to bark at strangers, which can be a bit startling, but he is not a bite risk. For this reason, he's not suited for busy adoption events. We prefer to arrange meet-and-greets in a more comfortable setting, like a home or park. Archie generally gets along with other dogs but can sometimes be a bit snappy. He does best with dogs who have a strong personality and can provide clear boundaries.

Ongoing Health

Archie is neutered, vaccinated, and up-to-date on all his shots.

Training & Support

Archie is house and kennel trained. He has also attended training and boarding, where he performed well. He's a smart cookie who enjoys following rules and pleasing his people.
