Sugarplum

Sugarplum is a sweet, approximately four-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who came to us as a stray. She was initially nervous at the shelter but quickly warmed up to our staff, showing her affectionate and loving nature. Sugarplum adores her toys and is quite athletic, enjoying playtime and showing off her adorable zoomies, both indoors and outdoors!

Ideal Home

Sugarplum would do best in a home with calm, resident dogs. She’s not a fan of hyper dog energy. While she is protective of her people and home once she's comfortable, she can be a bit shy with new people. A home where her confidence can be built and her "stranger danger" tendencies can be gently managed would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Sugarplum is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

We are working with Sugarplum to build her confidence and manage her "stranger danger" response, which mostly involves barking until she feels a new person is safe. With patience and understanding, she will continue to blossom into an even more confident companion.
