About Nitro vom Hartenkern

Nitro vom Hartenkern is a magnificent Rottweiler, over 2 years old, who is ready to find his forever family. He's a powerful and playful boy who absolutely adores attention, though he sometimes forgets just how big and strong he is! Nitro was raised with his littermates until 9 weeks old, then moved in with a family where he learned basic manners. While he was a playful puppy, his previous family realized that a full-grown Rottweiler is quite a handful. Nitro has returned to us for some extra exercise, playtime, and to polish up his training while he waits for his perfect match. He's absolutely gorgeous with a phenomenal world-class pedigree, predominantly ADRK (German).

Ideal Home

We believe Nitro would thrive in a home without young children. His size and strength mean we want to ensure the safety of all involved.

Ongoing Health

Nitro has no known health issues, and he will be up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming before going to his new home. He will also receive a vet check.

Training & Support

Nitro is house, crate, and leash trained and doesn't have separation anxiety. We did observe one instance of food possession when he was first introduced to new food, but it hasn't happened since. With his size and energy, ongoing positive reinforcement training and socialization will help him continue to be a well-adjusted companion.
