Pogo

Pogo is a one-year-old, male Pointer/Dalmatian mix who got his name from his energetic, bouncy nature! He absolutely loves to play and get attention, but he has a lot of energy and needs daily walks or plenty of room to run. Because he can get a bit lonely, Pogo does bark when left alone, indicating some separation anxiety. He's also still in the chewing phase, so he'll need supervision when he's not on a leash.

Ideal Home

Pogo needs a home with a securely fenced yard that is at least 6 feet tall. He doesn't get along with unfixed male dogs, and his interactions with other dogs, cats, and children are currently unknown.

Ongoing Health

Pogo is up-to-date on his rabies vaccinations and will be microchipped, with the registration covered. If you live locally, you'll receive a voucher to get him fixed for free within 30 days of adoption.

Training & Support

Pogo is still learning to manage his chewing habits and requires supervision or a leash when outside if a secure fence isn't available. He also needs help with his separation anxiety; consistent routines and enrichment activities can help him feel more comfortable when you're away.
