Pepper

Pepper is a sweet girl who is still learning about the world! She's a bit shy at first and may get overstimulated, causing her to pee, but she warms up with gentle reassurance. Pepper enjoys treats and knows how to "sit." She starts with low to medium energy but becomes a little more playful as she feels comfortable, often showing her affection by jumping up and following you around. She hasn't shown much interest in toys yet, but she is happy to be petted. Pepper has been noted to be friendly with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Pepper would do best in a home where she can receive lots of reassurance as she adjusts. A home with other dogs may be a good fit for her.

Ongoing Health

Pepper is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. She has been heartworm tested and is treated monthly for fleas, ticks, and heartworm prevention. She will be spayed/neutered prior to final adoption.

Training & Support

Pepper is still learning how to walk on a leash, as she tends to army-crawl. She can get overstimulated and may pee if she's overwhelmed, so gentle handling and positive reinforcement will be key. She enjoys treats and knows "sit."
