Meet Lucy, a delightful dog between 1-3 years old! This sweet girl, weighing in at just 23 pounds, is a perfect little companion with floppy ears, soulful eyes, and a heart full of gentleness. Lucy has faced challenges, arriving in rescue with a severe ear infection that left her with a head tilt. Yet, through it all, she has remained loving, trusting, and incredibly brave. She has a way of quietly stealing your heart, asking for little more than a soft place to rest, kind hands to pet her, and a family who recognizes her special spirit. Her sweet expression hints at a deep desire for a safe and forever home. Imagine her curled up beside you, following you around with those puppy-dog eyes, or resting her head gently on your lap after a long day. Lucy is ready to love with all her heart and is simply waiting for someone to love her back.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is currently heartworm positive but is already on the path to recovery. Her heartworm treatment will be fully covered by Wilder Souls Rescue through an approved veterinarian at no cost to her adopter. All dogs with Wilder Souls Rescue receive thorough veterinary care before adoption, including a full health exam, deworming, core vaccines, microchipping, and monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Lucy's gentle nature suggests she will adapt well with continued love and patience. Living in foster homes allows our dogs to decompress, learn routines, and prepare for a smooth transition into their forever families.
