Hazel

Meet Hazel, a delightful 1-2 year old pittie mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that shines! Hazel came to us as a stray, facing many challenges, but thanks to the kindness of some wonderful people, she's now healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever family. Despite being deaf, Hazel is a super spirited and friendly girl who absolutely adores children and other dogs. She's a bright spark, busy learning all her manners in her foster home, including perfecting potty training and leash walking. She's even mastering sign language – a testament to her intelligence and eagerness to please! Hazel is truly a smart cookie, learning fast and ready for the best chapter of her life.

Hazel thrives in a loving home where she can continue to learn and grow. Her energetic nature means she'll love an active family.

Ongoing Health

Hazel is a survivor and has recovered from past wounds and emaciation. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Hazel is doing wonderfully with potty training and leash walking. She is also learning sign language, so continued positive reinforcement with these methods will help her flourish.

Transporation

Hazel is currently in South Carolina. Transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick her up. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
