Rainer

Meet Rainer! This sweet 3-year-old Blue Heeler is a resilient tripod who has overcome a lot. He came to us as a stray after a car accident that resulted in the amputation of one of his legs. Despite his ordeal, Rainer is an incredibly loving dog who has also been neutered and completed heartworm treatment. He's looking for a foster or adoptive home where he can finally relax and be a dog.

Ideal Home

Rainer is looking for a home where he can thrive. He's a dog who enjoys the company of other dogs, but he does best with those who understand and respect his boundaries. He's a smart, active breed that needs mental stimulation and connection with their people, and the shelter environment is proving to be too much for him.

Ongoing Health

Rainer is a tripod, having had one leg amputated due to injuries from an accident. He has successfully completed heartworm treatment and has been neutered.
