Diesel is a sweet 11-year-old boy who recently arrived at the shelter. Senior dogs deserve to live out their golden years in loving homes, not in a shelter environment, and Diesel is no exception! He's ready to trade his kennel for a comfy couch and a family to call his own.

Application Details:

• Applications to adopt Diesel start by contacting us through Wags.
• All household members, especially those under 18 and any decision-makers, should be present to meet Diesel.
• If you have a dog at home, we recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after allowing time for decompression.

Transporation

Diesel is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control, 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Walk-in visitors are welcome daily from 12 pm to 7 pm. If you plan to adopt the same day, please arrive before 5:30 pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30 pm can still view animals until 7 pm.
