Mika

Mika is an 11-month-old female Belgian Malinois with a heart full of love to share! This darling girl adores spending time with her people and is a couch potato at heart, despite her majestic Malinois looks. She's friendly with dogs of all sizes and would love a canine companion to play with; she's currently living happily with furry friends from 5lbs to 65lbs. Mika enjoys leisurely sniffy walks (no more than 60 minutes) and a couple of backyard romps daily, loves to swim, play tug, and simply lounge in the yard, watching the world. Inside, she's content on the couch or her place cot with a benebone chew. Mika is happiest when she's just hanging out near you.

Ideal Home

Mika needs a securely fenced yard and a home where she can be part of the family. She is not a good fit for a cat home or an apartment/condo living situation.

Ongoing Health

Mika is up-to-date on all vaccinations and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Mika is place and potty trained, and easy for nail trims and grooming. She is crate trained and will settle immediately in a secure kennel like a Ruffland, Gunner, or TNC. She is ecollar conditioned, and her foster will provide all necessary information to continue this communication system in her new home. We are continuing to work on her leash skills in busier environments and her manners when meeting new people, as she can get overly excited and jumpy or mouthy. As Mika is still a puppy and has only had stability for a few weeks, her forever home will need to continue setting her up for success with consistent training.
