Little Red Riding Hood

Little Red Riding Hood is a sweet and gentle 8-pound lady who is about two years old. When she first arrived, she was quite timid and would tremble, but she has blossomed into a total lapdog! She still has some learning to do at her own pace, but her sweetness shines through, even when she's a little stressed. She seemed to get along with other dogs at the shelter, though she did exhibit some mild lap guarding, which was easily managed. Having come from a home with 55 other dogs, she seems to appreciate having a little space to adjust to new environments. She's already adapted wonderfully to her foster home and is slowly being introduced to a harness and leash.

Ideal Home

Little Red Riding Hood would thrive in a home with a couple of people who can give her lots of time and gentle attention. She enjoys having a bit of space to herself as she navigates new experiences.

Ongoing Health

She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Little Red Riding Hood is still learning about the world and how to navigate new experiences, including the leash and harness. She will benefit from continued patience and positive reinforcement.
