Banano

Meet Banano! This sweet 10kg Chihuahua/Terrier mix, born in May 2022, is a little guy with a huge heart and a whole lot of gratitude. Banano was rescued after a scary incident darting through traffic near CUC University in Ixtapa, but despite his rough start, he's remained the most loving and appreciative soul. He came into our care with low platelets and was being treated for Ehrlichia and anemia, but he's already feeling so much better! He's neutered, vetted, and is now ready to find his forever family. Banano has a gentle personality and is eager to shower his new humans with affection. He's patiently waiting for the family who will finally keep him safe and cherished.

Ongoing Health

Banano is being treated for Ehrlichia and anemia and was experiencing low platelets. He is feeling much better and is up-to-date on his vetting.

Transportation

Banano is currently located in Puerto Vallarta. Approved adopters can arrange for transport via flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new pup at the airport. During May and June, securing Canadian flight companions can be challenging. In such cases, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. We have successfully facilitated many border adoptions during the summer with the help of volunteers.
