This adorable 1-year-old mixed breed (possibly hound/shepherd) is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. Friendly, outgoing, and always ready to make a new friend, Ralph has the kind of joyful personality that lights up a room. Whether he's joining you for an adventure, playing in the yard, or soaking up affection, he's simply happy to be by your side. He would make an amazing addition to just about any family looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion.

Ralph is both Ehrlichia positive and heartworm positive, but don't let those diagnoses overshadow what an incredible dog he is. Ehrlichia is a tick-borne disease that is often treatable with appropriate veterinary care, and Ralph already has a heartworm treatment plan in place. Our team will happily walk his adopter through every step of his care, and with proper treatment and follow-up, many heartworm-positive dogs go on to live long, happy, healthy lives.

The only thing missing from Ralph's story is a family to call his own.
