While we have owned Shelties for 15 years, this is our first litter, and we are dedicated to finding them the best possible homes. I want to assure you that we are not a puppy mill. We truly love our dogs and have spent hours loving, playing with, and training all seven of our puppies to ensure they are exceptional companions. Unlike many puppies for sale that are kept in cages or barns without access to the sun or fresh air, our puppies live in our house. They have their own bedroom for sleeping, a large playpen in our living room, and they spend hours every day playing outside on the grass under our trees. We have only two dogs, one male and one female, and this is our first litter in 17 years of owning Shelties. Our dogs are fed top-of-the-line food, including raw organic grass-fed hamburger and BARF (Biologically Acceptable Raw Food) turkey. They stay active with daily jogs and agility training several times a week. We also feed the puppies the best food recommended by DogFoodAdvisor.com. Yeager and Amelia are with the puppies constantly, and I have several videos of the whole family running and frolicking together. Like you, we owned Shelties long before our current sire and dam; we love this breed and want others to experience that same joy. The sire, Yeager, is a master-level agility dog in both Standard and Jumpers with Weaves, and comes from a Champion Conformation bloodline. He stands at almost 18” at the withers. The dam, Amelia, whom we brought home when she was 2 years old, eight months ago, also comes from champion bloodlines; she is slender and athletic at16.5” at the withers and is currently in agility training. These two became fast friends after we picked Amelia up in Alaska. Our dogs do not shed much, which we attribute that to a high-quality diet of organic and raw food, and the puppies are already on high-quality food, as well. These puppies are gorgeous, athletic, and raised with an incredible amount of love. We are not a puppy mill; our dogs are members of our family. The puppies live in our home—not in a barn or cage—where they have their own bedroom and a large playpen in the living room. They are being socialized daily with children, friends, and various household sounds like vacuums, television and doorbells. Each day, they spend several hours exploring our fenced yard and enjoying their puppy splash pool alongside their parents. They already have excellent temperaments and are beginning to learn how to navigate obstacles like boxes and tunnels.
