Rey - URGENT

Rey is a 1-year-old Shepherd mix who is urgently in need of a loving home. She is currently at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter and is at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding. Rey has been at the shelter since June 12, 2026, and is ready to leave this stressful environment for a comfortable and safe place to call her own.

Ideal Home

Rey needs a home where she can receive the attention and stability she deserves. Due to the high-risk environment at the shelter, her ideal home would provide a calm and patient introduction to her new surroundings.

Rey is vaccinated. She has not been spayed or neutered.

Training & Support

Rey is not house-trained. Further guidance and consistent training will be beneficial for her to adjust and thrive.

Rey is located at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter. Companion Animal Protection Services (CAPS) can arrange transportation if you are on the West Coast. Adopters are responsible for transport fees.
