Meet Taz!
This handsome 1-year-old Pit Bull mix, weighing about 45lbs, is bursting with love, personality, and playful energy. He enjoys a good zoomie session (and he's surprisingly fast!) but is just as happy relaxing with his favorite people. Taz is crate and potty trained and settles well overnight in his crate, especially with a cozy blanket draped over it. He is also crated when left home alone since he's still learning that household items aren't toys. He walks nicely on leash, though squirrels and birds can sometimes be a little too exciting to ignore!
Ideal Home
Taz is making great progress with his socialization and would thrive with a family committed to continuing his training. He prefers plenty of space when passing other dogs on walks and is working hard on staying calm. While he enjoys playing with larger dogs, we feel he'd be happiest as the only pet in the home where he can soak up all the love and attention. This sweet boy greets new people with happy tail wags and has so much affection to give. He currently lives with a young child but can be protective of his toys, so we think he'd do best with older, dog-savvy kids.
Ongoing Health
Car rides can sometimes upset his tummy, but that may improve with positive experiences over time.
Training & Support
Taz is still learning that household items aren't toys, so he is crated when left home alone. He needs a structured, predictable home where he can continue building his confidence and be set up for success.
