Luka is a 3-month-old bundle of fluff, weighing around 20 pounds. She's a beautiful puppy with the classic charm of a Golden Retriever, though as with all rescue pups, her exact breed mix is our best guess. Raised in a loving home, Luka has learned the joys of play and has already developed wonderful manners. She's a gentle soul who observes and then happily joins in the fun. Luka enjoys basking in the sun, snuggling close, and is incredibly receptive to guidance. Her foster family has provided her with a fantastic foundation, including socialization with other dogs and even a young child. She's affectionate, curious, and remarkably quiet, preferring cuddles and play over barking for attention. Luka is more than ready to become a lifelong member of your family, ready to greet you, follow you, and bring you laughter for years to come.

Ongoing Health
Luka is up-to-date on all her vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with boosters, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and she has been spayed. She is current on flea and heartworm prevention and has been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Luka is bright, eager to please, and wonderfully receptive to guidance, making her training journey exciting. She has experience using a doggy door and shares toys and treats harmoniously with her siblings.

Transportation
Luka is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run, USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
