Meet Moose, a handsome 1-year-old Doberman and Pittie mix who weighs in at over 85 pounds of pure gentleness. Moose was rescued from a high-kill shelter in LA at the last possible moment, a true miracle that he made it out. He's a sensitive soul who can be a bit nervous around strangers, especially men, but with a little patience and understanding, he blossoms into a devoted and loving companion. Once he trusts you, he's all yours, showering you with affection and melting into your touch.

Ideal Home

Moose would thrive in a home with patient humans who understand that building trust takes time. He would love to have a dog sibling to share his life with. Men who are looking to adopt Moose should be prepared to let him set the pace and earn his trust gradually.

Moose is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Moose is a good boy on walks, staying close and listening well, though squirrels and lizards can sometimes catch his attention. He's learning to stay focused and is considered a work in progress. While he does okay when left alone, he's very happy to see his people when they return! He is crate trained. Moose is still building his confidence and would benefit from more exposure to new experiences like dog-friendly restaurants and busy outdoor spaces.
