Meet Bubba! He's an 8-year-old sweetheart with the gentlest soul and the perfect "pocket pittie" companion. Bubba is the definition of a soul dog, and the bond you'll build with him is truly special. His favorite place in the world is curled up on your chest, snuggled in close for hours. He's calm, low-energy, and perfectly content relaxing at home with his people. Bubba is easygoing, affectionate, and happiest when he's soaking up love and sunshine. He does enjoy an occasional zoom around the backyard about once a month! Don't let his chill personality fool you – Bubba gets incredibly excited when the leash comes out and walks beautifully, doing great passing other dogs. He's also been tested with cats and dogs at the rescue and passed! He's a bit timid/unsure with dominant dogs, but we think he would do great living with a cat!

Bubba is a gem who doesn't jump, gives kisses sparingly (making them extra special!), thinks he's a weighted blanket, is a professional-level snuggler, loves sunbathing and burrowing under blankets, rides well in the car, and never misses a meal. He still gets the occasional zoomies! We're happy to test Bubba in additional situations to help ensure the perfect fit for both him and his future family.

Bubba is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You'll be able to track their journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
