Emmie Jade

Emmie Jade is a darling 5-year-old female Shih Tzu, weighing in at 11 lbs. She arrived at the rescue with a very matted coat, requiring a shave during her grooming session. Her beautiful coat is now growing back, and she's looking lovelier each day! She was also a bit underweight, but her foster mom is diligently working to help her gain a healthy few pounds. Emmie Jade has the sweetest disposition and is incredibly friendly, seeming to adore all people and all the dogs she's met. She's house-trained and prefers sleeping in a comfy bed in her foster mom's bedroom over being in a crate. Emmie is almost ready to meet her forever family, who will surely appreciate a companion who loves nothing more than snuggling on your lap or just being close by.

Ideal Home

A family who can offer a loving lap and plenty of companionship. Emmie does not like being in a crate.

Emmie Jade is recovering from a recent grooming where her coat was shaved due to matting and is working on gaining a healthy weight.
