Hi, I'm Ireland! My journey to the shelter is quite a tale. I once mistook a jogger's shoe for a squeaky toy during a park visit. Imagine the surprise chase! Needless to say, after a few playful leaps and an accidental tug-of-war, the shelter seemed like a safer place for everyone involved. I'm a Shih Tzu/Maltese mix, a small boy weighing in at 13 lbs, and I'm approximately 1 year old. I'm all about fun and games, but I promise I'm gentle and friendly too.
