Meet Penny!
Penny is an almost five-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of love. She's a beautiful brown brindle with white accents, weighing around 41 pounds. Penny is the ultimate "velcro dog," always wanting to be by her favorite people's side, whether it's following you from room to room or snuggling up on the couch after a fun day. She greets everyone with enthusiastic jumps and wags, making every outing an adventure. While she has plenty of energy for play, she's equally happy to relax nearby once she's had a chance to stretch her legs. Penny is house-trained, crate-trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. She settles well in her kennel and enjoys car rides, but her favorite thing is spending time with her humans.
Ideal Home
Penny thrives with plenty of exercise, attention, and opportunities to bond with her family. She's a friendly girl who enjoys meeting new people and has never shown concerning behavior toward them. However, due to her enthusiastic greetings and active nature, she would do best in a home with older children who can comfortably handle her excitement. Very young children or toddlers could be accidentally knocked over. Penny needs to be the only dog in the home. Her compatibility with cats has not been fully established. A single person or couple with an active lifestyle, a fenced yard, and ample time for companionship would be a perfect match.

Penny is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations.
Training & Support
Penny is house-trained and crate-trained, and knows commands like "sit," "stay," "down," and "kennel." She needs a home committed to providing thoughtful supervision and continuing to set her up for success in an only-dog environment due to a past incident where she bit another resident dog during a stressful situation. This appears to have been an isolated reaction, and she has remained calm under careful management since then.
