Rrrrrocket here! I'm a Pups for Parole graduate and ready to blast off to my new forever home. Maybe you can help me set my course! I am an adorable 3-year-old, 45-pound, coonhound/boxer mix boy who is house and crate trained. I do well on a leash, and love to go on long-leash “sniff-safaris”! I "sit" for a treat and also know "lay down", "off", and a couple of other commands. I really enjoy hanging out with my people and cuddling with them on the couch! With slow introductions (of course), I'm good with other non-dominant dogs, and older kids. My forever home will need to have a privacy fenced yard. No apartments for me. Daily mental and physical enrichment like zooming around a fenced yard, playing fetch, or turning mealtime into a fun puzzle game helps me feel happy and confident. As a graduate of the Pups for Parole training program, I have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I’m a very loyal, smart, loving boy and would really flourish in a home with an experienced best friend who can continue my training so my skills can keep improving! I will fill your life with smiles, laughter, and love if you promise to love me for who I am forever!
Ideal Home
A home with a privacy fenced yard is a must for me; apartments are not suitable. I do well with other non-dominant dogs and older children, provided introductions are done slowly.
