Rose Quartz, affectionately known as "Rosie," is a sweet 7-pound Chihuahua mix with a heart of gold. She's one of twelve precious pups rescued from a hoarding situation and named after gemstones. Rosie is a bit shy as she's learning what it means to be a cherished pet, but with patience and love, she's blossoming beautifully. Her foster parents are dedicated to showing her the warmth and affection she deserves. Rosie was born in April 2011.

Rosie would thrive in a patient and understanding home where she can continue to build her confidence. She needs a family who can show her consistent love and help her learn what it means to be a truly loved pet.
Ongoing Health
Rosie is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes her spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and microchip. Any other medical care required while in rescue has also been covered.
Training & Support
Rosie is learning to trust humans and accept affection, which is a significant step! She benefits from gentle guidance and positive reinforcement as she continues her journey to becoming a confident companion.

- For animals under 3 years old or with health conditions, a vet reference is required. This means you must currently own or have previously owned a pet in your name.
- The adoption fee is $265, which covers all vetting costs.
Transportation
Rosie is located in the Tricounty area and is available for local adoption within a 2-hour radius. Exceptions may be made for senior or hard-to-place animals. We hold adoption events on Saturdays, and event locations vary weekly. Please check our homepage for the most current location. If you wish to meet Rosie, please let us know in advance so we can make arrangements for her to attend the event.
