Betty

Betty is a 10-year-old, 5.2 lb. bundle of love who found herself needing medical attention for a torn Achilles tendon. She's undergone surgery and is now in physical therapy to help her regain use of her leg. While her leg is healing in a fixed position and is a bit shorter, she's adapting wonderfully, even managing to run and scratch with it. Betty is the sweetest girl who doesn't seem to let her injury slow her down one bit! She recently had a bout of pancreatitis and is now on a special gastro low-fat diet. Her dental work to remove her last two teeth is scheduled for February 12, 2025.

Ongoing Health

Betty has a torn Achilles tendon that required surgery and she is currently in physical therapy. She had a recent bout of pancreatitis and is now on a special diet. Dental work to remove her last two teeth is scheduled for 2/12/25.

Betty is adapting well to her physical therapy and a custom-made brace, but she will likely benefit from continued support to maximize her leg's functionality.
