Training & Support

As with any young dog, Nemo will benefit from continued training and socialization to help him learn good manners and become a well-adjusted companion. We recommend enrolling him in positive reinforcement training classes.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.
• You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.
• Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options.
• Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment.
• Vet checks for current and prior pets in the household will be performed.
• Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.

Transporation

Nemo is located at our shelter in Warren, MI. Transportation may be available to approved adopters within a 100-mile radius.
