Tia (waiting for over a year!)

Tia is a resilient, smart, happy, energetic, athletic, and people-pleasing girl who has been waiting for her forever home for over a year! Black dogs often have a harder time finding their families, but Tia is so ready to show someone how wonderful she is. She's a playful and affectionate dog who absolutely loves to retrieve anything you throw. Tia is a quick learner and enjoys training, especially when treats are involved! She is already doggie door trained. Tia is 2 1/2 years old and up-to-date on all her vetting.

Ideal Home

Tia would love to be the only pet in the home, as she does tend to guard her food around other dogs. She would do best with an experienced dog owner who is looking for a dog that thrives on engagement and wants to spend quality one-on-one time with their canine companion.

Tia is current on all vetting.

Training & Support

Tia guards her food with other dogs, and the current solution is to feed other dogs in crates. In a home setting, she would be best as an only pet. She is treat-motivated and learns quickly, so continued engagement and training will be very rewarding.

Transportation

Tia is currently in South Mississippi and is available for transport to the city listed. We personally transport our adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to various states including VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY.
