Boots is a handsome young Shepherd/Collie mix, just over a year old and around 50 pounds, who is eager to please and loves people. He was rescued from a crowded shelter and is now safe in our care, ready to start his next chapter. Boots is affectionate, enjoys leaning in for pets, offering play bows, and gently asking for attention with soft paws. He already knows "sit," appears to be house-trained, and takes treats gently. He's also a social butterfly with other dogs and would love a canine companion to play with. Boots has endured uncertainty but greets the world with a wagging tail and a hopeful spirit. He's looking for a family willing to give him the stability, love, and commitment he deserves, and could be the perfect loyal companion, hiking buddy, playmate, and best friend.
