Stanley is the man! This handsome boy is a chocolate lab pittie mix, estimated to be around 6 years old. Stanley is a mellow and easy-going guy who prefers to take things slow when meeting new people and other dogs. He's a sweetheart who is learning that the world is full of kind people and pups. Stanley is currently enjoying life in a foster home while he patiently awaits his forever family.

Ideal Home

Stanley would love a home where he can continue to explore and go on adventures. He enjoys road trips and has a particular fondness for the beach, so a family that enjoys the outdoors would be a great fit. He's also been known to be a good balance to energetic pups, so he could potentially do well in a home with other dogs. He has shown interest in cats, so a home without feline friends would be best.

Ongoing Health

Stanley is a healthy boy and received a clean bill of health at the vet.

Training & Support

Stanley is a smart cookie who already knows how to sit and is great on leash. He's also an excellent car rider, happily snuggling in the back for peaceful naps. He was very calm and patient during his vet visit and even allowed an 8-year-old to "train" him with treats.

Stanley is currently in Texas and can be transported to various locations across the US, including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA, or Brattleboro, VT.
