Brady

Brady is a 5-year-old, 135lb blue Weimaraner who is ready to embark on a weight loss journey with his new family! He was surrendered to a veterinary clinic by his elderly owners who intended to euthanize him, but thankfully, the clinic reached out for help instead. Brady is a sweet and sensitive boy who, despite his current size, has the potential to be a happy and healthy companion. His excess weight is due to overfeeding and lack of exercise, not a medical condition. A unique feature is his adorable little mohawk on the back of his neck, which is sure to melt hearts!

Ideal Home

Brady would likely do best as the only dog in the home. However, experienced adopters with knowledge of Weimaraners or similar breeds may be considered if they have another dog-savvy dog.

Ongoing Health

Brady is currently overweight and needs a family committed to a long-term weight loss program. This will involve a carefully managed diet and increased exercise. A full blood panel was completed and revealed no underlying medical issues for his weight. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Brady is a large dog who is described as sensitive, typical of the Weimaraner breed. He will need continued support and encouragement on his weight loss journey, which will include a consistent exercise routine and dietary management.
