Jeffery

Jeffery is a handsome 2-3 year old, 90-95lb, neutered male Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart of gold! He's a gentle giant who absolutely adores people. Jeffery was found dumped at the Dallas shelter, and while he may have had a rough start, he's ready to find his forever family. He's a master of his commands, and if you even raise your voice slightly when you're out for a stroll, he'll sweetly back up and sit by your side. He's a pro at crate and potty training and loves nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch for movie night. Jeffery is definitely not a marathon runner or hiking enthusiast, but he's perfect for leisurely walks and just hanging out. He's a total sweetheart and will be your most loyal companion!

Ideal Home

Jeffery would thrive in a home with a single person, a couple, or a family with older children aged 12 and up. He needs to be the only dog in the household, as he dislikes other male dogs and is uncertain around female dogs. He is not suited for dog parks. He must not be kept on tie-outs or use an electric fence.

Ongoing Health

Jeffery is heartworm negative and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jeffery is crate and potty trained and knows his basic commands. He is sensitive to raised voices, so a gentle approach is best. He's looking for a loving and patient owner who will appreciate his sweet nature.
