Meet Daphne! This delightful 10-month-old pit bull and Great Dane mix is a true testament to resilience and the power of love. Daphne's journey began as a stray in a South Georgia kill shelter, but thankfully, Great Dane Friends of Ruff Love stepped in to give her a second chance. When she arrived, Daphne was a whirlwind of energy with no formal training, presenting a delightful challenge to her foster family. She was rambunctious, a bit of a bull in a china shop, and had a prey drive to match. However, Daphne is a remarkably smart girl who truly wants to learn. With consistent training, patience, and clear boundaries, she has blossomed into a well-behaved companion. She now happily goes into her kennel, walks nicely on leash, and plays appropriately with other dogs. While still active, she thrives with structure and enjoys continued training. Underneath all that playful energy is the biggest love bug you'll ever meet! Once she's had her exercise, Daphne transforms into a "Lap Goblin," showering her humans with kisses and settling in for cozy snuggles. She's goofy, athletic, and incredibly affectionate, always by your side with sweet nose boops. If you're looking for an enthusiastic adventure partner who also loves to be a couch potato, Daphne is your girl!
