Meet Nessy! This 3-year-old Miniature Schnauzer / Dachshund mix arrived with a mission: to narrate everything she experiences, loudly and with strong opinions. As a puppy, she was rehomed to an elderly person who couldn't provide much socialization or exposure to the outside world. When she arrived with us, she clearly felt things needed improvement and has been providing her commentary ever since, earning her the nickname “Messy Nessy.” Nessy is a full-time loudmouth who has thoughts on everything – the weather, your shoes, your tone, your life choices, and things you haven't even done yet! She's not being rude; she's just very committed to keeping everyone informed. But once she decides you're safe and can be trusted, she transforms from a chaotic commentator into the funniest, tiniest little gremlin companion you didn't know you needed. She becomes goofy, affectionate in her own peculiar way, and absolutely entertaining in a way that should probably come with a warning label.
Ideal Home
Nessy will need a very special adopter who appreciates a dog with a strong personality, a big voice, and who is willing to build trust slowly. She is not a "figure it out as you go" dog; she's a "earn it, laugh through it, and eventually get obsessed with her" kind of dog. If you like your dogs quiet and polite, please keep scrolling.

Nessy is heartworm negative, current on preventions and vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She also comes with a geo tag.
Training & Support
Nessy is a dog with a lot to say and will need an adopter patient enough to earn her trust and appreciate her unique personality.
