This handsome boy is King, a 6-8 year old lab mix with a fun, fluffy tail that makes him truly unique! King is an energetic and active dog who loves to run and play, but he's also sweet, quiet, and gentle. He's a well-rounded companion who is friendly with people, kids, and other dogs. While he hasn't been around cats, he's generally a low-maintenance dog with good common sense. He's not a big barker, but he will alert you to anything unusual. King appreciates a good meal and treats, but he doesn't have a high food or prey drive. Despite a difficult past where he was found hit by a car, King is a resilient and fully functioning dog, ready to live his best life.

Training & Support

King is crate and house-trained and will alert you when he needs to go outside. He does not suffer from storm or separation anxiety. He has been known to chew plastic water bowls, so metal bowls are recommended.
