Silke

Silke is a sweet, gentle girl who is happiest when she's close to her people. She loves being part of the family and will happily follow you from room to room, keeping you company throughout the day. Every now and then, she'll even sneak in a little kiss to remind you just how much she adores her humans. This lovely lady is crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and does a great job letting you know when she needs to go outside. As long as you're paying attention to her signals, she seems to be potty trained. She also walks nicely on a leash, though she may be a little eager at first when it's time for a bathroom break.

Silke gets along wonderfully with other dogs, both large and small, and she does well with cats too. She's still learning about some of the finer points of dog life and isn't particularly interested in toys or chew bones yet, but she's making progress every day. What she lacks in toy enthusiasm, she more than makes up for with her affectionate personality and desire to be near her favorite people. Silke is looking for a family that will give her a little patience as she continues to gain confidence and discover how much fun being a dog can be.
