This handsome young Shepherd/Collie mix has already beaten the odds once and is now looking for the family he's always deserved. Rescued from a crowded Texas shelter where he was at risk due to kennel space, Boots was given a second chance and is now safe and ready to start his next chapter.

At just over a year old and around 50 pounds, Boots is the perfect combination of playful, affectionate, and eager to please. He loves people and isn't shy about showing it, whether he's leaning into your legs for pets, offering a play bow, or gently asking for attention. He already knows "sit," appears to be house-trained, and takes treats gently. Boots is a social butterfly with other dogs and has consistently excelled in playgroups, earning "Rockstar status" for his friendly, playful nature. He enjoys canine companions and would love a dog friend to romp around with. He is a happy, loving boy who has endured uncertainty and change but still greets the world with a wagging tail and a hopeful spirit.
