Meet Kai, a delightful 4-year-old shepherd mix who weighs about 47 pounds and has a heart full of joy and a spirit ready for adventure! Kai is a bundle of happy energy, always eager to greet the world with a wagging tail and a playful bark. She absolutely loves to run, chase, and engage in zoomies, especially when she has furry friends to join the fun. Toys are also a big hit with Kai, and she's content to entertain herself with them when she's not busy playing. Her enthusiastic personality makes her an ideal companion for an active household. After a good play session, she's more than happy to settle down for pets, belly rubs, and plenty of snuggles.

Kai would thrive in an active home that can provide her with plenty of opportunities for play and exercise. She has done wonderfully with children and enjoys their affection.

Training & Support
Kai is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. She may pull slightly on the leash when she sees other dogs, as she's just very excited to meet them. While she generally has a happy-go-lucky nature, loud noises or storms can make her a little nervous, but she settles well with love and reassurance. We recommend crating any new dog until they've had time to acclimate to their new environment.

Transporation
Kai is currently being fostered in San Antonio, Texas. Our rescue can arrange transport out of state once she is matched with an approved adopter. Transports run every few weeks and Kai will be on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
