Etsy Bestie is a truly wonderful companion, a true "lovey dovey bestie" looking for her forever home! She's an incredibly sweet and loving girl who adores everyone she meets, melting into your arms any chance she gets. With a heart of gold, she radiates happiness and joy, and her big brown puppy-dog eyes and sweet grin are guaranteed to make you smile. Etsy is a hoot, and her tail is always wagging! She's believed to be a Cattle dog/Pittie mix, around 2 years old and 52 lbs.

Ideal Home

Etsy would do best with a semi-active family who enjoys outdoor activities like hiking or beach trips, but also cherishes quiet time at home. She's shown to be great with children as young as 5, unfazed by playful energy and even gentle when taking treats from them. She would do best with a medium-energy male dog who enjoys occasional play but isn't looking for a constant playmate. Etsy would also be perfectly happy in a home without other dogs, as she has plenty of love to give. She would do best in a home with no cats, as she showed a little too much interest in the resident cat.

Ongoing Health

Etsy is healthy and up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and preventative care.

Training & Support

Etsy is eager to learn and already knows basic commands like "sit" and "down." She walks well on a leash, only occasionally pulling towards interesting smells, and responds well to correction. She has wonderful house manners and is both crate and potty trained. While she can be a little shy in new environments initially, she warms up quickly and becomes very affectionate.

Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A transport surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
