Cindy, short for Cinderella, is an adorable little lady with a story that will touch your heart. She was rescued from a gas station in central Mexico, where she was desperately begging for food while nursing her puppies. Seeing her trying so hard to care for her family was heartbreaking. We returned the very next day to rescue Cindy and searched everywhere for her puppies, but sadly, we were never able to find them. From that day on, Cindy's new journey began. She has spent months preparing for her forever home, receiving veterinary care, training, and weekly socialization. She was placed with a wonderful foster—a gentleman with no other dogs—and she quickly blossomed. In a calm, loving home, Cindy discovered just how wonderful life can be. Today, Cindy is available for adoption and is thriving in foster care. She is truly a social butterfly! Cindy loves going on errands, rides beautifully in the car, and is wonderfully behaved in stores and at pet-friendly restaurants. She enjoys being included in everyday adventures and takes it all in stride with her friendly, easygoing personality. At home, Cindy has a calm, relaxed nature. She isn't a high-energy dog and is happy with daily walks followed by quality time with her favorite person. She entertains herself when needed but would much rather curl up beside you on the couch and watch TV at the end of the day. The breed is based on visual observation. It is inaccurate and can be determined via DNA by the adopter!
