Keri is a sweet, well-mannered girl with a unique story. She originally came to us from Kuwait in 2019 after a challenging start to life. Though she found her forever home in 2020, she recently lost it through no fault of her own and is now back with us, ready to find her perfect match again. Keri is a wonderfully lazy companion who truly bonds with her person, making her the ideal sidekick for quiet nights in. She's a true "ride or die" kind of dog, devoted entirely to her chosen human and content to let others simply exist. If you're looking for a loyal, loving shadow to share your life with, Keri might be your girl!
Ideal Home
Keri would thrive in a home with a moderately lazy owner who can commit to providing her with regular walks and appropriate portion sizes to manage her weight. She's not a fan of yippy little dogs and would prefer to be the only dog or with a dog her own size that doesn't bother her. Keri is definitely not a cat person. She's best suited for an owner who is a bit of a social hermit, preferring quiet companionship over constant social activity.
Ongoing Health
Keri is currently overweight, with a portion of this attributed to a thyroid condition. The rest is due to a need for more exercise and less food. She is working towards a healthier weight, which for her is in the mid-40-pound range.
Training & Support
Keri is exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. Her primary need for support will be in managing her diet and ensuring she gets regular exercise to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle.
