She’s happiest when included in family activities, whether it's walks, backyard adventures, or learning new things together. While she hasn't met children or cats, her friendly and inquisitive nature provides a wonderful foundation for socialization with thoughtful introductions.

Training & Support
Elys is kennel trained and has made impressive progress with potty training. She understands mealtime routines and enjoys eating in her own kennel, alongside her sister, in separate crates. She is incredibly food motivated, responds well to positive reinforcement, and shows great impulse control for her age, making her a joy to train. Her foster home has provided her with a great start, and she’s learned to respect boundaries by giving other dogs space when needed.

Elys is currently in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
