WOOLY

Woolly is a 2-year-old, neutered male Labrador mix who weighs about 46 pounds. This sweet boy absolutely loves people and will happily greet new friends with a wagging tail, but he's polite and doesn't jump. He forms strong bonds with his caregivers and enjoys being close to his people, often following them from room to room. Woolly spent nearly three years waiting in a shelter, but despite the long wait, he never lost his love for people and continues to greet everyone with a wagging tail and a hopeful heart. He's ready to leave shelter life behind and find a forever family who will give him the love, security, and companionship he has been waiting for.

Ideal Home

Woolly would thrive in a calm home with a single person or a couple, or a family with respectful children. He is not a fan of cats, small animals, or other dogs, so a home without them is required. He needs daily walks and companionship. Someone seeking a loyal, people-oriented companion will find a wonderful friend in Woolly.

Ongoing Health

Woolly is vaccinated and has had bloodwork done. There are no known medical conditions or allergies at this time.

Training & Support

Woolly is house-trained and has excellent house manners. He enjoys walks and may pull slightly when excited, but settles with gentle guidance. He can be shy at first but blossoms into an affectionate and gentle companion once he feels comfortable. He has a playful side and enjoys fetch with his favorite bouncy orange ball. He is cooperative during baths and paw cleaning but is afraid of hair dryers.
