Stella ***FOSTER OR ADOPT***

Meet Stella, a 49-pound bundle of charm with soulful brown eyes, a golden coat, and a gentle personality that wins people over almost immediately. Around 4 years old, we believe she may be part hound, part lab, and 100% sweetheart. Stella came to us after being transferred from a county dog pound due to an eviction, though it was through no fault of her own. Despite the changes in her life, she has remained a loving, trusting girl who is eager to find a family of her own.

Stella recently underwent ACL surgery and is doing wonderfully. She is nearing the end of her recovery and getting stronger every day. While she still needs a little time before she's fully cleared, she's well on her way and ready to start looking for the foster, foster-to-adopt, or forever home she's been waiting for.

Ideal Home

Stella absolutely adores people and thrives on attention. Booty scratches are one of her favorite things in the world, and she never turns down a tasty treat. She enjoys toys, chew bones, leisurely walks, and plenty of opportunities to stop and investigate interesting smells. Whether she's out exploring or relaxing beside her favorite person, Stella is simply happy to be included. Stella has been friendly with other dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion, though a meet-and-greet is recommended.

Ongoing Health

Stella recently underwent ACL surgery and is recovering well. She is nearing the end of her recovery and gaining strength daily.

Training & Support

Stella is highly food motivated, already knows "sit" and "shake," and loves showing off her good manners. She's looking for a family that will appreciate her sweet nature and give her the love she so readily gives in return.
