Fred is a perfectly sized Pit Bull mix with a sturdy, huggable frame and an even bigger heart. He's content just being in your presence, offering quiet companionship and those irresistible puppy-dog eyes. Whether you're relaxing or reading, Fred is happiest by your feet, making sure you know he thinks you're the best!

Ideal Home

Fred would do best in a home with a calm, confident dog sibling who respects his space, or an easygoing buddy who speaks fluent dog. He is not a fan of cats and would prefer a home where he is the only feline friend. Fred is a great apartment co-pilot and doesn't need a huge yard, just a comfy rug and leash for his daily strolls.

Training & Support

Fred is already crate trained and potty trained, making him a polite houseguest. He is also a dream to walk on leash, preferring leisurely strolls. He is a sensitive soul who warms up quickly in a safe, loving environment and will be asking for belly rubs in no time once he trusts you.

Transporation

Fred is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track their journey in real time and receive photo updates.
