Pumpkin Lumpkin is a magnificent 5-year-old coonhound mix with a personality as sweet and squishy as her name suggests. She's a low-maintenance lady who enjoys the finer things in life, like soft couches, sunny spots, and leisurely strolls. Pumpkin is incredibly tolerant and affectionate, greeting everyone with enthusiasm and melting into love once she's comfortable. She's polite and unproblematic with other dogs, preferring a calm coexistence over rowdy play. While she's shown many qualities that suggest she'd be a wonderful family dog, we can schedule a kid test if you're interested! Pumpkin is a bit of a vocal hound, so a home with a yard or a hound-friendly apartment would be ideal. She's currently on a wellness journey, carrying a little extra fluff, but remains a happy, easygoing girl who enjoys exploring at her own pace.

Training & Support
Pumpkin is an incredibly easy and sweet dog who has been wonderful in the home. She walks beautifully on leash and enjoys calmly wandering the yard. She can occasionally get a little vocal about her opinions.

Transporation
Pumpkin is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport drop off locations include: WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
