About Buttons

Meet Buttons! This precious girl and her sister, Jelly Bean, began their story abandoned in a parking lot. Thankfully, they are now safe and thriving in a loving foster home where they are receiving all the love and care they deserve while preparing to find their forever families.

Ideal Home

Buttons is looking for a cherished spot as a member of the family, with people who are excited to be her teachers, adventure buddies, and lifelong best friends. She needs a home that understands the commitment and joy of raising a puppy, including time for training, socialization, and puppy-proofing.

Ongoing Health

Buttons is up-to-date on puppy vaccinations and microchipped. She is too young to be spayed or tested for heartworm, but a spay/neuter contract will be required, and all required vaccinations after adoption are the adopter's responsibility.

Training & Support

Buttons is still very much a baby and will need continued training, socialization, and house manners with patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement. She is not yet housetrained and will need her new family to commit to attending training/behavior classes unless they are an experienced dog owner comfortable with their coordinator. Puppies can scratch and nip, so homes with small children should consider if they can handle this. Puppies cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until they are older.
