Nala

Nala is an 8-year-old, spayed female Shepherd/Retriever mix who weighs 52 pounds. She's currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, TEXAS. Nala was found abandoned by her previous owners, but thankfully a kind networker rescued her and brought her into our care. She's a truly sweet and easygoing girl with a peaceful presence that makes her a joy to have around. Nala has a naturally calm demeanor but still enjoys her playful moments, making her a wonderful balance of relaxed and fun. Her tail has never stopped wagging since she was rescued!

Ideal Home

Nala would do best in a home that appreciates her calm, loving nature. Whether it's a family with children, a home with another friendly dog, or a quieter household, she's ready to settle in and be a loyal, gentle companion.

Ongoing Health

Nala is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Nala is fully house-trained and crate-trained, resting comfortably in her crate for several hours during the day and overnight. She walks nicely on leash with a calm pace, though she may occasionally need a little encouragement to keep going. Nala has good manners overall, but she may prefer some space while eating, especially around unfamiliar dogs. She has shown no issues with people around her food or toy guarding behaviors.

• Virtual home visit, personal and vet reference checks are required to complete the process.

Transportation

Nala is currently located in HOUSTON, TEXAS. She can be transported to a city near you once approved. Transport is included in our adoption donation.
