Tater is a 6-year-old Terrier hound mix with enthusiasm that’s as boundless as his affection. With his irresistibly squishy face and big, expressive eyes, he’s a total charmer who leaves everyone infatuated. Tater isn’t about too much energy these days—he’s about joy, turning every day into an exciting new experience. Whether it’s a hike, a walk in the park, or a long car ride to nowhere in particular, Tater is happiest when he’s by your side, exploring the world.

Training & Support

Tater is quick to pick up on commands and thrives on positive reinforcement. He is well on his way to being the best dog he can be, but continued training efforts are always encouraged for rescue dogs.

Transporation

Available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & TN, KY, IL,& IN, OH. Dogs are transported in a USDA licensed semi-truck equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. East Coast route travels in a private, air-conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
